CATIONIZED WATER BY LTI

It is well known that LTI can deliver plenty of significant benefits to humans and other living things.

Particularly water produced by LTI serves us as strictly good things on the globe.

Cationized water means the water which has been changed to positively charged one by LTI, while water (H2O) is in essence negatively charged. Such cationized water can be made by constant agitation of water.

Cationized water by LTI delivers the following benefits:
  • Provide antioxidant effect on living things.
  • Increase the amount of DO (dissolved oxygen) in water and even in the atmosphere since oxygen (O2) is negatively charged, and it can help bacteria and microbes in water to be activated.
  • Prevent scale formation in pipes and water tanks which makes cleaning of pipes and tanks easier and free from chemicals.

What sorts of benefits can such effects bring RO ? General view

Scale formation is one of the most serious and troublesome issues for cooling towers and heat exchangers in some industries as well as the corrosion of inner wall of some piping line.

Those issues result in water receiving problems and costly for industrial applications. Even for the piping in the long run. Such scale cannot be scraped off easily due to bonding of the piping or other parts in the parts. Time-consuming and requires time and cost.

The preventative measures usually require manpower and chemicals and could be expensive water system, chemicals and blow down are common methods but they are costly. And they cannot prevent the formation of hard scale even though they can reduce its formation. This means how much indeed Ca and Si are reduced, there is the risk of formation of scale.

In other words, reducing TDS is not the perfect way to prevent from hard scale.

LTI uses permanent magnets to the water passing through and changes into a different state of water. Specifically, by installing LTI which has permanent magnets, water is ionized. Such ionized water acts as if it were soft water, which cannot form hard scale. In addition, such ionized water peels off the scale inside pipes and prevents the adhesion of scale and slime. As a result, formation of hard scale can be reduced.

One pass application

LTI has a long history (Over 20 years in Japan and 15 years overseas) and has delivered results in the one pass application and can prevent the formation of wet scale in the piping. LTI can also Change structure of water by changing water molecules smaller and this treated water has the dissolving power, so the created scale by LTI can remove the built up scale gradually.

As stated above, the reducing hardness of water is not the perfect way to prevent the formation of hard scale. As long as silica and calcium are included in water, there is a risk of scale formation as water becomes concentrated in the recirculation water flow and therefore the concentration goes up at times and scale can be accumulated incessantly. This is the reason why blow down of water and chemical feed should be required for the circulation water flow like cooling towers and HVAC.

LTI can prevent formation of hard scale which is mentioned above without reducing hardness of water. Of course, no blow down of water and chemical feed could be required. The maintenance which also is only required is to wipe off the accumulated dry soft colloids which have dropped in the sump pit.
